These women met the Holy Prophet (S) and our A’immah (‘a) and they accepted Islam with understanding, raised their family, memorised the Qur’an, learnt Islamic Jurisprudence, Theology, Gnosticism, Philosophy, Tafseer and even took part in battles as nurses and providers of water to the soldiers. The book also outlines these women’s merits, per traditions and the viewpoints of scholars, as well as a description of those who have transmitted ahadith (traditions) from these women, and those individuals who have had their ahadith transmitted by them.
